The Potgieter family have been supporting charities for three generations. The late Squadron leader (‘Bob’ Potgieter) and his son, Paul were volunteers pilots for the RAF and Royal Navy to fly blind veterans for the St. Dunstan’s Charity during the 1980s and 1990s. Paul later went on the fly for the Make A Wish Foundation, and more recently has provided various support to children’s cancer charities CHICKS and CLIC Sargent.
In 2018, Help 4 Others was established to create a way of helping others through a variety of projects. Building on a family commitment to help others, the third generation of the family are now involved, with Joshua Potgieter (Grandson of Bob Potgieter) becoming a trustee and Anna Potgieter (Granddaughter) looking forward to be appointed a trustee in 2021.
Today, the whole family are supporting the growth of Help 4 Others, a private society, dedicated to helping those in need.
